DAR HABABOU

Built around the 16th century, next to the shrine of Sidi Ali Azouz, a 3-minute walk from Bab Bhar and a 3-minute walk from the Zitouna Mosque. Purchased in 1714 by Hamouda Wild el Fkih Hababou, grandson of Ahmed Khouja Bey, from the previous owner Abdallah Bin Abdellatif el Naji. Dar Hababou is an important example of the Arab-Moorish style, uninhabited since the 1990s and in urgent need of restoration. Dar Hababou will be converted into a museum by TUNISTORIC.
